The Building Project Committee will be providing more and more information on the future plans and progress that is being made with the re-ordering and renovation work planned both inside and outside the church. For the time being, 'Communion Architects' have provided the video below. There are two copies: one from YouTube (right side), and a second lower resolution version held on our local server (below).
buildingupgrade2025Here we visit a 3d animated rendering of the future of St. Michael's Church. This will include improved access at each entrance, enhanced storage and facilities within the building, kitchen and servery, improved heating and use of solar to improve energy efficiency and creation of key spaces for services, activities and performances through curtain partitions. A ccessibility for the stage is also improved via new steps, handrails and platform lift.
