Date: Sunday 20th December2026

Time: 3pm (for a 3:30pm matinee screening) to 5:30pm

Venue: St. Michael's Church

Additional Info: Gather your friends for our festive matinee screening of a Christmas classic that explores so many Christian values such as faith, doubt, hope, love, and courage to believe in something we cannot fully prove.  The movie shows us the difference between believing because we think we have all the facts & figures in front of us, versus remaining open because we recognise that we do not.  Faith doesn’t mean pretending doubt doesn’t exist.  It means bringing our questions, disappointments or uncertainties to God, and remaining open to the possibility that He is already working around us and in our lives.  And maybe the question to ask during the movie is not, "do you believe in Santa Claus?"  But instead, "is your heart still open to the possibility that God can surprise you? "

Hot cocoa and yuletide snacks will be provided.  Bring something cosy to snuggle in for a very special evening (though blankets are available to borrow), and please consider staying on for our short evening service at 6pm, where we will explore further some of the topics the film covers.
