Additional Info:our regular morning worship is a communion service. Everyone is welcome, and tea & coffee is served afterwards. During the service our childrens groups run in parallel. If it is not your usual practice to receive communion, you can still come up for a blessing. Gluten free wafers are available on request. We have a mixture of worship music during the service that includes traditional hymns played on a pipe organ, as well as a contemporary worship music.

Additional Info:Celebrate is a new informal multi-generational service and includes a café church experience. Here we sing, pray, create and learn with Jesus at the centre. These services are not live streamed on YouTube, and there is no Holy Communion. Instead on the 2nd Sunday of every month, there is an evening communion service at 6pm.

Additional Info:Our regular evening service is an opportunity for more reflective worship. It is small and intimate, usually in the Epiphany Chapel or the South Aisle. While it tends to be adults, everyone is welcome. Occasionally music may be played, or we may adopt a more cafe church style. Throughout the year, a series of evening services may follow a contemporary or classical theme. On the 2nd Sunday of the month, evening service will include Holy Communion.

Additional Info:St. Michael’s Place of Welcome meets every Friday between 10am-12noon in the South Aisle of the church. It is intended as a safe space where anyone can come and have free tea, coffee, toast, and biscuits. You will find listening ears and a chance to talk. We are also part of a network of ‘Warm Spaces’ where in the winter months you can come and be warm and welcomed.
Children's Groups at St Michaels

Additional Info:we have three separate children's groups running in parallel most Sunday's during term time. For children under five there is a supervised toddler group who meet in the South Aisle called Mini Mikes (formally know as South Aisle Saints). For children of Primary school age up to Year 5, we offer FLOK (following and loving our king), who meet in the upstairs FLOK mezzanine room. Finally, for older children (year 6 and above) there is a more formal Sunday school programme in the Vestry upstairs.
